We are proud to announce our most recent success in obtaining the prestigious gold medal for sustainability awarded to us by EcoVadis!
With great dedication, we were able to join the exclusive 5% of companies that excel in terms of sustainability in the vast database of companies of EcoVadis, one of the most important international eco-sustainability rating platforms. This achievement represents a significant leap forward in our commitment to improving environmental, social and ethical performance, compared to the silver medal we were awarded in previous years.
Earning the EcoVadis gold medal represents not only a prestigious achievement for us, but also a tangible testimony of the efforts and sacrifices we have put in to achieve this goal. We wanted to show with determination that for Messaggerie del Garda sustainability is not only about the environment, but is also a pillar that embraces the social and ethical.
The EcoVadis analysis assessed our performance in four macro-areas: environment, labour and human rights, ethics and sustainable purchasing. This success is unequivocal proof that Messaggerie del Garda’s entire management system reflects the EcoVadis sustainability criteria, which in turn are based on globally recognised standards.
A further source of pride is the fact that EcoVadis will plant a tree in the name of Messaggerie del Garda, a symbol of a concrete commitment to environmental conservation!
