possible penalties<\/h2><\/div><div class=\"fusion-text fusion-text-5 fusion-text-no-margin\"><p>Exchange remains the main objective of the regulation. In cases where the recipient cannot return the pallets upon delivery, they must issue a <strong>pallet voucher<\/strong> indicating:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>date of issue and serial number<\/li>\n<li>identification details of the party obliged to return the pallets and the beneficiary<\/li>\n<li>type, quantity and quality (if applicable) of pallets<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If any of these elements are missing, the holder may request immediate payment of the market value. If the pallets are not returned within 6 months of the voucher being issued, the obligation to pay the market value automatically applies.<\/p>\n<p><em>24 months after the new provisions come into force, the pallet voucher will only be valid in digital format.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"fusion-layout-column fusion_builder_column fusion-builder-column-6
