Logo-ETA-Ethical-Transport-ApproachWe have chosen to join ETA—Ethical Transport Approach, an association founded by two companies in the Brescia area to promote a new ethical standard in the management of drivers, couriers, and hauliers on a national scale.

The initiative is based on a set of guidelines that invites companies in the sector to review their approach to drivers to recognise the value and importance of these professionals, equating them in terms of skills, responsibilities and professionalism to roles such as airline pilots. ETA also aims to combat the growing shortage of qualified personnel by retraining drivers and promoting a more people-oriented approach within companies.

At Messaggerie del Garda, we have chosen to join this association to actively contribute to a paradigm shift in the logistics and transport sector. As proof of our commitment, our colleagues Alessandra and Rebecca Beschi participated in the first ETA training course to provide transport entrepreneurs with concrete tools to adopt fairer, more inclusive and sustainable practices in human resource management.

We firmly believe that respect, training and the well-being of people are fundamental elements in building sustainable logistics, including on a social level.
