A.D.R.
A.D.R. regulations concern
transportation of dangerous goods by truck only (Italian Directive
Number 94/55/CE) and were accepted in Italy with D.M. dated September
4th, 1996 and published on the the attachment to the G.U. Number. 211
dated December 2nd,1996.
A.D.R. (Agreement pour le transport de materies Dangereuses par Route)
is an international agreement that determines packaging and labels,
security equipment on board, maximum quantities loaded on trucks and
everything else that can reduce shipping and contamination risks.
Every company and each function inside it must apply ADR standards
(production, warehousing, marketing, processing, transport or sales) if
handling these goods, called dangerous according to the A.D.R. code.
Furthermore with D.M. Number 40 dated February 4th, 2000 published on
G.U. dated March 3rd, 2000, our government created a new role: the ADR
consultant.
The penalties for failure to appointment by the company
ADR consultant provided leads to a penalty from 1.549,38 a 9.296,23 Euro. The failure to notify the name of mctc instead involves a penalty from a 3.098,74 Euro 516.46.

The main container categories are
three:
FLAT-RACK: it is an entirely open
flatcar, loadable/downloadable from above, using its whole length and
equipped to anchor the commodities to the bottom of it. It is
particularly suitable to transport great machineries, indivisible
commodities and, more generally, anything that can travel uncovered.

RAILWAY TRANSPORT
We also transport using railway wagons.
The wagon is usually taken from the rails and moved to the loading
place through equipped trailers (extraordinary load). Thanks to the FF.
SS. service the trailer can be also loaded on the wagon with its
tractor.
